The second day of the Nordic girl chess championship started at 09:00 in sunny Reykjav\u00edk. Hard fought games combined with smiles and good atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Former president of the Icelandic Chess Federation, Gu\u00f0fr\u00ed\u00f0ur Lilja Gr\u00e9tarsd\u00f3ttir, played the first move for top seed Margarita Zaritovskaja in Class A. Gu\u00f0fr\u00ed\u00f0ur Lilja is actually the originator of the Nordic girl championship, which dates back to 2007.<\/p>\n
