2. DATE, VENUE, SCHEDULE
The tournament is open for everyone and will take place in Harpa (the playing venue of the GAMMA Reykjavik Open) on March 12th and starts at 13.00.
3. SYSTEM AND RATE OF PLAY
The Fischer Random Tourney shall be played according to the Swiss System in 9 rounds.
Time controls are 10 minutes + 3 second increment per every move.
4. RULES
The FIDE Chess960 Rules will be used.

6. TIE BREAK
FIDE recommended tie-breaks will be used:
- Direct encounter
- The greater number of wins
- The greater number of games with Black (unplayed games shall be counted as played with White)
- Buchholz Cut 1
- Buchholz
- Sonneborn-Berger
7. ENTRY FEE
- Free for GMs/IMs
- €10 for participants in the GAMMA Reykjavik Open
- €25 for others
The entry fee can be paid in cash or by credit card at the playing venue.
8. REGISTRATION

You need to confirm your participation before 12.00 at the playing venue and pay the entry fee.
It is recommended that players confirm their participation and pay the entry fee on April 11th. Then it is not necessary to confirm the participation on April 12th.
9. ARBITERS
IA Kristjan Orn Eliasson will be chief arbiter.
The decisions of arbiters will be final and cannot be appealed.
